Find your hat size in 2 minutes

A good hat sits snug just above your ears, without pressing. Measure your head once, enter it below, and we will show your size in US, UK and centimetres.

  1. Measure Wrap a soft tape or a piece of string around your head, about 1 cm above the ears and across the middle of your forehead.
  2. Read it Note the length in centimetres or inches. With string, mark it and lay it flat against a ruler.
  3. Find your size Enter it below, or look it up in the chart. No tape? Print our hat tape.

  • Snug, not tight Keep the tape level and firm: one finger should slide under it.
  • Between two sizes? Choose the larger one. A hat that is slightly big is easy to snug up with sizing tape; a tight one is hard to fix.
  • Measure twice Measure again at a different spot around the same line and keep the larger number.
